Nick:The starry night painting is NOT here. It has been in the permanent collection of the MoMA in New York since 1941. You can buy Van Gogh's jelly ears at the gift shop.

cvvh:It's open until 10:00PM on Friday but gift shop is open until 9:30PM. You cannot take any photos in the museum, which is fine. The Armin Van Buren guide is interesting, try it!
