It's no secret that we love Kate Beckinsale. She is a gorgeous (and slightly crazy) unicorn who is aging in reverse. But now, if the rumors are true, she's got a new man in her life. Well, a young man. To be more specific, he's 21, and his name is Matt Rife. (For the record, Beckinsale is 43.)
Since we know a lot about Beckinsale and nothing about Rife, we did a little due diligence on the guy, and what follows are seven fast facts we discovered about a little known comedian who is roughly the same age as youraverage college junior. He's an Actor and Comedian (Kind of)
He's pretty young, so understandably his résumé isn't that impressive. So far, he's mostly landed roles in web series and TV game shows with names like Clash of Karts Mario Kart 8. He also does a lot of stand-up in LA, appearing regularly at the Laugh Factory.

He's three years older than Beckinsale's daughter.
Kate's daughter Lily Mo Sheen, whose father is actor Michael Sheen, is 18 years-old.

His mother is two years older than Beckinsale
Ho boy! We don't know what to say about that. We're sure there's a Freud quote that sums it up, but we can't find it. Let's leave it to one of Rife's (recently deleted) Instagram quotes: "Age is just a number ♥ Find someone you love, and take their breath away…even if that means putting a kink in their oxygen tank cord." Hey, the guy's a comedian, after all.

He has a cat named "Vladislav De Pokér"
We have no idea what's going on with that name. But here's what we know from his Instagram account: De Pokér is a full-on cuddle monster who's extra-affectionate when it rains in LA and has no respect for personal space. (Beckinsale is a big cat person, so perhaps this is something they bonded over?)

He became a comedian because of Dane Cook.
"I was watching Comedy Central," he said in an interview, "and Dane Cook came on and I became a fan like, instantly and literally the next day, my teacher asked me if I wanted to be in a talent show."

He tells a lot of racy jokes for a white guy from Ohio
Matt Rife'sstandup has a joke where the punchline is "Knickers please." Which might be funny coming from Dave Chappelle, but a white dude who Grams an excessive amount of cuddling kitty photos should maybe avoid the n-word.

On that note, he's gotten into hot water on Twitter before…
Especially on Twitter. Responding to one accusation on Twitter, in 2012, Matt Rife replied: "no i didn't f–king f-ggot! F-ck n-gga that's that sh-t i don't like." Yeah, he makes Trump's tweets look like they were written by a work sensitivity counselor.
