Second Piece is an open-world Roblox RPG game where you’ll progress by becoming stronger. As you progress, you will travel to many different islands and locations depending on your levels. There are also many different weapons, fruits, and specs you’ll need to obtain along the way.
The game also has many different secret NPCs and traveling merchants that appear after a set amount of time. If you are a beginner in the game, there may be a lot of things for you to know. In this guide, we will show you some of the most basic things you want to know as a beginner in Second Piece.
Complete Beginner’s Guide
As a beginner, you will want to know about all the items currently available in the Second Piece. There are many other Fruits, Specs, and Swords that you can obtain to increase your power. For all the information, you can go to the Official Trello site.
Leveling up is an essential part of your gameplay, which you can do by talking to quest NPCs on each island and completing the requirements.
When you’ve reached a certain level or strength, you can start fighting the stronger event and special world bosses. These bosses give high amounts of EXP and loot, so make sure you fight them!
Official Trello
The Second Piece: Official Trello Link is a website with all of the information about the game gathered in one place. If you are a beginner, it is a great tool to help you navigate yourself in your progress.
The Official Trello will show you all the items, weapons, fruits, and specs in the game and how you can obtain them. There is also a Tier List for you to know which ones to prioritize early on.
Make sure you also scroll through all of the locations in the game and check their level requirements. Getting to a new island when your level isn’t high enough won’t be efficient and you will progress much more slowly if you do so.
Progression Quests
Progression Quests are your main way of leveling up in the game. On each island, you will be able to find these NPCs that give you quests to earn EXP.
Usually, you will need to defeat a number of enemies to complete the quest and obtain EXP. On each island, there will be one quest that wants you to defeat the normal enemies, while the other one wants you to defeat the island’s boss.
It is recommended that you take the quest that wants you to defeat the boss as soon as you are able to. This is because these quests give you more EXP and will accelerate your progress quicker.
Keep farming the quest until you reach the level requirements for the next island. Make sure that you go a little bit higher than the requirement because it will make your experience much easier.
For example, if the next island’s level requirement is 100, you’ll ideally want to be at least level 150 when you get there.
Checkpoints NPCs
As you move between islands, make sure you find these Set Spawn NPCs. They usually have a bright pink circle around them.
Make sure that you always set new spawn locations so that whenever you respawn, you will not go back all the way to the starter island. This will help you save a lot of your time.

Traveling Merchants
As you play the game, you will be able to see the Traveling Merchant announcement every 1 hour. These are merchants that sell you unique items, such as Demon Fruits and many other useful materials.
The game will also show you the location where the Traveling Merchant spawns, so make sure you read it as well. For example, in the image below, you can see that a merchant has spawned in the Orange Archipelago area.
On each island, you will be able to find NPCs that sell Swords, Demon Fruits, or Specs. Make sure you run around and see what these NPCs have to offer!
Stats Menu
At the bottom left corner of your screen, you will be able to view your stats distribution menu. You can use points and distribute them in Melee, Weapon, Defense, and Demon Fruit stats.
Defense is an essential stat that helps you survive much longer when you are fighting bosses or any enemies that do fight back.
Depending on whether you use a Fighting Style, Sword, or Demon Fruit, you will want to put your points in Melee, Weapon, and Demon Fruit for the right types of damage.
Farm Bosses
Apart from the normal bosses that do nothing when you hit them, many other strong bosses can attack you. If you are not confident, you can always ask a friend for some help.
When you are strong enough, make sure you fight these special bosses as well since they have a chance of dropping loot chests. They give you lots of EXP as well so farm them when you are able to!
